OLD MONEY "AESTHETIC"

I need to start by saying that this is not an aesthetic but a style. We relate it with white rich families. We do not include different cultures here, only the occidental/western one.

Old money basically means  rich families that has always been rich.  We don´t know their dedication or their hobbies but we know that they are really wealthy.

It´s characteristics are not difficult to understand. Simple and plain clothes. White, baby blue, black and beige. 

No logos, no neon, no oversize, no ripped... "Bored but elegant"

Elegant, classy, conservative. 

That´s old money. 

Brands that follow these rules are Ralph Lauren, Channel (minimal logo), Tom Ford...

Even tho they exist a lot of cultures that show their generetional wealth in other ways (more colours or textures) celebrities that could be a great example are: 

- Carlos Sainz

- Kate Blanchett

- Kate Moss

This style is seen a lot in politicians or the royalty.

Comencemos por el hecho de que no es una estética como tal sino un estilo, normalmente lo relacionamos con las familias ricas y blancas sin incluir distintas culturas, solamente la occidental.

Este estilo básicamente significa; familia rica que siempre ha sido Rica. No sabemos exactamente a qué se dedican o sus hobbies, pero sabemos que son adineradas.

Las características de este estilo no son muy difíciles de entender. Ropa simple y sencilla, colores como el blanco, el azul clarito o el beige.

Nada de neón, prohibidos los logos, nada de pantalones rotos y por supuesto nada de látex. Debe ser aburrido pero elegante.

Incluso cuando existen muchísimas culturas que enseñan su riqueza generacional de otras maneras (en cuánto a estilos se refiere) por ejemplo en la India se usan muchísimo más colores, brillo y lentejuelas, las celebridades que os puedo mostrar con ejemplos son:

- Carlos Sainz

- Kate Blanchett

- Kate Moss

Vemos mucho este estilo en los políticos o en la realeza.
